All Regular WGA Members are eligible to participate in the WGA's Tuesday "Sweeps", mini tournaments held on most Tuesdays during the year.  Your annual membership dues cover any entry fee.  Check our either our WGA calendar link/tab or the WGA Sweeps Calendar tab for the week's scheduled game.  See below for a description of all of the potential Sweeps games.

• All score cards for Tuesday Sweeps must be placed in the red Sweeps Box in the Ladies' Locker Room to be part of the week's game.

• All Sweeps games and "Ace of the Week" must be played from the Green Ladies Tees.

• Regular WGA Members participating in the weekly Sweeps game and/or Ace of the Week must play with at least one other Regular WGA Member to be eligible to win each week’s Sweeps Game and Ace of the Week.

• ALL putts must be holed out to qualify for Ace of the Week, as well as for the day's Sweeps Game.

 

Sweeps results are generally posted on the bulletin board in the Ladies' Locker Room the Thursday after the game.  The moneys won in Sweeps are paid quarterly with a Bay Club Gift Card which can be used in the FRCC Pro Shop or any Bay Club Property.

Ace of the Week/Ace of the Month

​

During each week there is a Sweeps game, there is also a separate tournament for the overall low net player of the week.  The low net player will be deemed the Ace of the Week winner.  Each of the weekly Ace of the Week winners will be in the running for the Ace of the Month winner.  Each of the Ace of the Month winners will be invited to play in the annual Ace of the Year tournament, which is scheduled in January of the next year.  The winner of this tournament will be the winner of the Ace of the Year.    

 

Regular WGA Members may only qualify for Ace of the Month once during any calendar year.  Players achieving Ace of the Month will no longer be eligible for Ace of the Week or Ace of the Month for the remainder of the calendar year.  This ruling will give other players an opportunity to qualify for Ace of the Month and the Ace of the Year Tournament.  Ties will be allowed for Ace of the Week and Ace of the Month, providing players have not previously won Ace of the Month earlier in the year.
